Wahid is a Partner and Managing Director at Amaly Legacy (Amaly), a tech-enabled asset management platform with a philanthropy tech arm and social innovation studio that supports unlocking funds for charitable organisations to tackle development challenges, with a focus on climate action. He leads the asset management division of Amaly and is an investment and strategic advisor with deal experience covering large-cap and mid-market debt and equity deals for various global investors, including Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA), Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB), Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ), Temasek, GIC and Khazanah Nasional among others spanning across Africa, Europe, Middle East, Indian subcontinent and Southeast Asia.
